Amanda Lou Jenkins Doscher

Amanda Lou Jenkins Doscher, 101, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Lehman Gadsden Doscher entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the Cathedral Church of St. Luke and St. Paul, 126 Coming Street at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Saint James Churchyard. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. 

Amanda was born January 1, 1924 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ernest Raymond Jenkins, Sr. and Amanda Lou Jones Jenkins. She was a member of Saint James Episcopal Church Alter Guild, the Rebecca Motte Chapter of the D.A.R, and in the Folly Beach Garden Club. 

Amanda is survived by her two daughters: Nancy D. Peeples (John) and Stephanie Challoner (Meredith) both of Charleston, SC; son, Robert Scott Doscher (Ashley) of Beaufort, SC; six grandchildren: Ian Folsom, Joshua Folson (Jamie), Hope Lant (Todd), Dale Peeples (Jennifer), Parker Doscher, and Tucker Doscher. She was predeceased by her son, Lehman Gadsden Doscher.
