Alyne Shepherd Wurthmann Hutchins

March 15, 1929 — July 26, 2010

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of July 26, 2010, Alyne "Pumpkin" Shepherd Wurthmann Hutchins, widow of William L. Wurthmann, II and Robert Hutchins.  Residence, Summerville, SC and long time resident of Stall Road, North Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Saturday, July 31, 2010, at two o'clock.  Inurnment, St. Lawrence Cemetery at a time to be announced.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Saturday afternoon from one until time of service.


Ms. Hutchins was born on March 15, 1929 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Francis T. Shepherd and the late Clyde Willis Shepherd.  She was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church and was a retired School Crossing Guard. 


Surviving are four sons, Edward A. Wurthmann, Theodore A. Wurthmann, Kenny G. Wurthmann all of Charleston , William L. Wurthmann, III of Anchorage, AK; a daughter, Margie Facas of Mystic, CT; a brother, Johnny Shepherd of Charleston; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
