Alvin Ernest Nelson, Jr.

Alvin Ernest Nelson, Jr., 90, husband of the late Doris Martha Beck Nelson of Omaha, NE, and recently of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of The Palms, 937 Bowman Road, Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Alvin was born on July 29, 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska, son of the late Alvin Ernest Nelson, Sr. and Annetta Marie Keiner Nelson. He was the Vice-President of Wright & Wilhelmy Wholesale Hardware Company in Omaha, NE. He was a Mason, a Shriner and he attended Seacoast Community Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Clarke and her husband, Keith of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Ronald Alvin Nelson and his wife, Nancy, of Tigard, OR; four grandchildren, Andrew Nelson Clarke, Amber Clarke Craig and her husband Justin, Bobbi Lynn Nelson and Beth Ann Nelson; four great grandchildren, Austin Nelson, Cade Nelson, Conner Nelson and Kinsley Alyson Craig.
