Alvin E. Daniels, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Dorothy "Dot" West Daniels entered into eternal rest Friday afternoon, November 30, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Alvin was born August 27, 1929 in City View, Greenville, SC, son of the late Fred Daniels and Gerdie Hendrix Daniels. He was a retired AT&T employee and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by a son, Alvin E. Daniels, Jr., (Linda) of Ohio also a daughter Martha E. Daniels of Greenville, He is also survived by two step-daughters, Susan E. Odom of Mount Pleasant, and Judith A. Pack (John) of West Ashley; six grandchildren Thomas Elrod of Charlotte, NC and Candance Peznowski of Chicago, Illinois, Jonathan Daniels, Claire Daniels, Adam Daniels and Julie Barrineau (Ricky); two great-grandchildren, Dakota Barrineau, Tyler Barrineau. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Claire Teresa Daniels, two sisters, Marie Daniels and Margaret Daniels, brother, Arthur Daniels and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Hendrix of Greenville.
