Althea "Bonnie" Broadway Gregorie

Althea (Bonnie) Broadway Gregorie of Mt. Pleasant, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 while at her home with her family.

The funeral and burial will be Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Oakland Plantation, 1164 Porcher's Bluff Rd. The family will host a reception for friends immediately following the burial at Oakland. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Bonnie was born on December 17, 1954 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Reid and Althea Broadway. She was a 1973 graduate of Moultrie High School and a 1977 graduate of College of Charleston. She then spent several years teaching elementary school at Mt. Pleasant Academy. Bonnie was married on her twenty-third birthday, December 17, 1977, and selflessly devoted her life to her husband and four children. She loved nothing more than serving them.

She is survived by her husband Philip Porcher (Shay) Gregorie Sr., her two daughters, Rachel Kuhl and Emily Padgett, and her two sons, Shay Gregorie Jr. and Kirk Gregorie. Her fourteenth grandchild will be born in late July.

Also surviving are her brother Reid Broadway and her sisters, Debbie Fenn and Angela Mulholland, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Mark Broadway.
