Aloha O. Dwyer, 95, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, beloved wife of the late John Edward Dwyer, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 23, 2022. A private graveside service will be held. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel.
Aloha was born February 2, 1927 in Chesterfield, Missouri, daughter of the late Frank Farkas and the late Olga Arft Farkas. After graduating from high school, she entered the medical field as a lab technician. She volunteered at East Cooper Regional Medical Center and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for her work in the gift shop and fundraising. She was a faithful member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Mt Pleasant.
She is survived by her three sons, Dennis Edward Dwyer (Barbara) of Dunedin, FL, Forrest Preston Dwyer (Jacquelyn) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Keith Alan Dwyer (Barbara) of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, John Dwyer (Cara), David Dwyer (Michelle), Elizabeth Youngski (Chris), Sean Bihlear (Kelly), Jason Bihlear (Dani), Lauren Callahan (Michael), Danielle Coker (Jack) and Angie Dwyer; great grandchildren, Charli Dwyer, Dani Dwyer, Paxton Youngski, Riley Youngski, Shawn Callahan, Luke Callahan, Logan Callahan, Charlotte Coker, Jackson Coker, Jake Bihlear, Finley Ann Bihlear, Clayton Bihlear, and Sage King; and sister-in-law, Connie Farkas.
Aloha is preceded in death by siblings, Olga Mae Dickherder, Clifford Farkas, Frankie Farkas, Faith Dickerson and Oreon Karl Farkas.
