Allan Wayne Simmons

Allan Wayne Simmons, 60, of Huger, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 2, 2022. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd. 

Allan was born July 26, 1961, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Clifford H. Simmons, Jr. and Mildred Brown Simmons. He worked as a property manager here in the lowcountry. He loved fishing and boating, and knew his way around the kitchen when it came to cooking seafood. He will be remembered for being friendly, and some would say he never met a stranger. Allan was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Brown Simmons; sister, Mildred Jane (Sam) Garrett; brother, Clifford H. Simmons, III; daughter, Brandy Brown; and grandchild, Addison Macavian.
