Alison Woodrow Hicks, 94, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Lillian Cooper Hicks entered into eternal rest Monday, December 10, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston.
Alison was born January 11, 1918 in Lake City, South Carolina. He served during World War II with the United States Army and was a retired Heating and Air Conditioner Service Manager.
He is survived by his son, Donald C. Hicks of North Charleston.
