Alison Huggins Brooks, 44, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Jeffrey H. Brooks died Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the East Cooper Baptist Church, 361 Egypt Road at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Alison was born February 15, 1971 in Florence, South Carolina, daughter of the late Coley Leon Huggins and the late Marilyn Christine Windham Huggins. She attended Francis Marion University, worked in Human Resources and was a member of East Cooper Baptist Church. Alison loved her family and enjoyed being a stay at home Mom and raising her children.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Books of Mount Pleasant, SC; son, Bradford Windham Brooks of Mount Pleasant, SC; daughter, Emma Grace Brooks of Mount Pleasant, SC; two sisters, Renee H. (James) Harrell of Hartsville, SC and Crystal H. (William) Tuck of Florence, SC; two nephews, Tyler Harrell and Cole Harrell; and one niece, Madeline Tuck.
