Alice Mary Sabadosh Ward, 78, of Moncks Corner, SC, wife of Luther Buford Ward, passed away on the morning of Friday, February 22, 2013. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the chapel Tuesday one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Ward was born December 16, 1934 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, daughter of Andrew Sabadosh and Rose Namath Sabadosh. Alice was a very talented artist and fisherman. She was known by family and friends as "The World's Greatest Female Fisherman". She was always willing to help when needed and gave unconditional love to anyone she encountered.

She is survived by her husband; her sons: Glen, George and Brian Fox; her daughter, Lynn Gotjen; her step-sons, Brian and Bruce Ward; her grandchildren: Brian Fox, Bryan Fox, Stephen Fox, John Thomas Fox, Audra Gothen, Cora and Jessica, Ryan Ward, Geoff Ward, Maranda King, and Jordan Higgins; her sisters: Rose, Lillian and Irene; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Fox.
