Alice Reeves Southern

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 12, 2012, Alice R. Southern, widow of William "Bill" Grey Southern of North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Alice Southern are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment, Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call at Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mrs. Southern was born on March 1, 1933 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Herman Reeves and Mazie Smoak Reeves. She was a retired secretary for the chaplain at the Charleston Naval Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church of North Charleston.

She is survived by her sister, Sarah Garner of North Charleston, SC; brother, Emmitt Reeves and his wife Doris of Columbia, SC; brother-in-law, Jim Southern and his wife Pat of Columbia, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
