Alice Susie Morris, 87, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of William R. Morris, Sr., passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012, in Huntsville, AL. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012, in the Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 2:30 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Alice was born January 12, 1925, in North Carolina. Alice was a homemaker, member of Charleston Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star, Azalea Chapter 192. She was also a retired lunchroom manager for the Charleston County School District.

She is survived by two daughters, Marian Rzepkowski and husband, Ron, of Charleston, SC, and Betty Rourk and husband, Carl, of North Charleston, SC; a son, William R. Morris, Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a brother, Fred Spake of FL; two sisters, Peggy Ryan of Texas, and Annie Skipper of NC; five grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel Road, Charleston, SC 29407 or to a charity of one's choice.
