Alice Elizabeth Miller, 56, of Charleston, South Carolina died at her home Sunday, June 9, 2013. A memorial service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Thursday's service and an additional Memorial Service will be conducted later in Vincennes, IN.

Alice was born July 17,1956 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of William Harrison Miller and Christina Grainger Miller. She held an Associates Degree from Sullins College in Bristol, VA and graduated from The College of Charleston. Alice was a graphic artist and the former owner of Signs Plus. She will be remembered for her incredible sense of humor and she loved laughter. Many of her closest friends best knew Alice as "Smiley". Alice had a great love for animals and will be greatly missed by her two poodles, Henry and Molly.

She is survived by her Partner, Suzanne Wilds, of James Island, SC; sister, Christina Ernst (Tom) of Vincennes, IN; brother, William Miller (Mary) of Vincennes, IN; nieces, Elizabeth Killgallon (John) of St. Simons, GA and Isabel Miller of Vincennes, IN.
