Alice Fischer, 77, widow of Christian Ellis Fischer, entered into eternal rest June 27, 2012 at her home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's North Area Chapel this Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born March 2, 1935 in Branchville, South Carolina, Alice was the daughter of the late Otis Carl Hughes and Mary Vance Hughes Mackey. She was a member of Rhett Avenue Christian Church. Mrs. Fischer was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Survivors include her daughter: Marianna "Jo" F. Styles and her husband Dennis of Summerville; sons: Christian E. Fischer, Jr. and his wife Susie of Pimlico, SC, Otis Carl Fischer and his wife Donna of Awendaw, SC and Julian "Alec" Fischer and his wife Yvette of Hanahan; 9 grandchildren: Chasity Vigliotti, Robin Beckman, Trey Fischer, Dennis Styles, Jr., Mark Styles, Robbie Fischer, Brianne Sanders, Randall Fischer and Benjamin Fischer; 6 great grandchildren.
