Alexander "Alex" C. Logan

Alexander "Alex" C. Logan, Jr., 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, died Sunday, November 22, 2015. A memorial service will be held Wednesday December 2, 2015 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 712 Wappoo Road, Charleston, SC 29407 at 2:00 p.m., where he was a charter member. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Alex was born April 14, 1931 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Alexander C. Logan and Vivian McClary Logan. He was a retired electrician and served time with the National Guard. Alex was awarded the rank of Pilgrim in the Loyal Order of Moose. Pilgrim is the organization's highest individual designation and all pilgrims receive a gold suit jacket symbolizing the rise to the top of the organization.

Alex is survived by his son, Alexander "Al" C. Logan, III of Longs, SC; daughter, Phyllis L. Haynie, of Charleston, SC; one granddaughter; two great-grand children; two sisters: Anne L. Hauck of Charleston, SC and Miriam L. Peacock of Summerville, SC and brother, William A. Logan of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
