Aleene Flood Baize, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, died Saturday, August 18, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, West Ashley Chapel. Aleene was born August 3, 1925 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ollie Flood and the late Ruth Mitchum . She retired as a Custodial Manager for MUSC, and she was a member of St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church.She is survived by her son, Wayne Baize ( Raynell) of Charleston, SC, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
