We celebrate the life of Albert F. Jacobs, 95, of Ridgeville, SC, who entered into the arms of Jesus on the morning of February 21, 2025. 

He was loved by many, and he is now enjoying the presence of many loved ones who stepped into heaven before him.

His funeral will be 2:00PM, Friday afternoon, February 28, 2025, at J. Henry Stuhr, Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner, directed by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. The family will receive friends at the Chapel from 1:00PM until the time of service on Friday. 

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Sonrise Christian Church, 102 Myers Road, Summerville. Albert was born February 2, 1930, in Birmingham, Alabama, son of the late Rowdy Jacobs and the late Thelma Petty Jacobs. He graduated from MUSC with a degree in Pharmacy. He married Virginia Ford in 1953, enlisted in the Army the same year, served for four years in Brook Army Hospital in Texas and later resided in Hanahan, SC. 

In 1964 Albert purchased his farm in Moncks Corner belovedly known as "The Ponderosa". He was a successful business man and co-owner of Berkeley Drugs. Later he and his son opened Hanahan Discount Pharmacy and he later transitioned to the VA Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy where he retired. Albert and Virginia had four children, Vicki, Chris, Jeff and Mark. After Virginia's death he married his second wife, Audrey Manseau. Upon Audrey's death Albert married Jennifer Keefer. Albert loved golfing, hunting, fishing, farming and was an all-around sports enthusiast who adored Duke basketball. In his later years he enjoyed camping at Edisto with Jennifer and their dogs. His sense of humor was unparallel and he would put everyone around him at ease and they would be laughing within minutes of meeting him. His love for God always shined through, if not in word, in action. Albert was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia Jacobs, his second wife, Audrey Jacobs, his brother Donald Jacobs and his daughter, Vicki Jacobs Metts. 

Surviving are his wife Jennifer Keefer; three sons, Chris Jacobs (Terry) of Moncks Corner, Jeff Jacobs (Melesa) of Moncks Corner, Mark Jacobs of Moncks Corner, and Son in Law Ronald Metts of Summerville; stepdaughters; Suzanne Manseau Green (Marion) of Ridgeville, Cynthia McBride (Andy) of Goose Creek, Kara Smith (Ronnie) of Goose Creek, 14 grandchildren, many great grands and two beloved dogs Gibby and Gabby.
