Albert Samuel Couch

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 9, 2010, Albert Samuel Couch, Jr., husband of Marie Cumbee Couch.  Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Couch are invited to attend his funeral service at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL this Friday afternoon, June 11, 2010, at two o'clock.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens with military honors.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Friday from one o'clock until time of service.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston Foundation, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 and/or Orange-Charles Towne No. 14 Masonic Lodge, 1285 Orange Grove Road, Charleston, SC  29407-3947.

Mr. Couch was born on July 23, 1932 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Albert Samuel Couch, Sr. and Ethel Connor Couch.  He was a member of Pierpont Baptist Church, retired Welder and Pipefitter with Medical University of South Carolina, and was a member of St. Andrews Masonic Lodge #367.  Mr. Couch was an Army veteran and was awarded National Defense Service Medal. 

Surviving are his wife of Charleston; two sons, Al Couch and wife Celeste of Charleston, Shawn Couch of Charleston; brother, John Couch of Summerville; sister, Betty Delores Napier of Charleston; two grandchildren, Alex Couch and Cody Couch.
