Alan Selz Rubin

Alan Selz Rubin, son of the late Benjamin and Evelyn Rubin passed away May 22, 2018 at his home in Savannah, Georgia surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. His funeral service will be held graveside Friday, May 25, 2018 in Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Cemetery, Huguenin Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Alan was born in Charleston, SC in 1934 and lived there for most of his life before moving to Tybee Island, Georgia. He attended Rivers High School and The Citadel. Alan was an active member of the board of directors of The Charleston County PRC, past president of the Charleston Municipal Golf Course and a long standing member of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Synagogue. He was founder of the Charleston Ski Club and photographer of many sporting events.

Alan is survived by his loving wife, Nancee; two children: Eric "Ricky" Rubin (Lori) and Julie McGaughey; three grandchildren: Evan, Zachary and Casey; and brother, Kenneth E. Rubin.
