Agnes Gwinn Rogers

Agnes Gwinn Rogers, 96, of Charleston, SC, widow of R.W. "Woody" Rogers, Sr. entered into eternal rest Friday, August 8, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 12:00 p.m. till time of service. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park .

Agnes was born October 21, 1917 in Laurens, SC, daughter of the late Clarence Gwinn and Daisy Hughes Gwinn. She was a homemaker. She loved her Sunday school class and was a faithful member of Northbridge Baptist Church.She is survived by her son, Robert W. Rogers Jr. and his wife Delores P. Rogers of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Teka R. Pierce and her husband Roger of Summerville, SC, Sharon R. Owens of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three sisters, Virginia O'Sullivan, Catherine Henderson both of Spartanburg, SC, and Imogene McElrath of Hemmingway, SC; eight grandchildren, Robert W. Rogers III of Pinopolis, SC, Sean Rogers of Summerfield, NC, Jason Kyle Rogers of Washington, DC, Ansel C. Kay, IV of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Fonda K. Latham of Summerville, SC, Travis R. Kay of Charleston, SC, Stuart W. Kay of Summerville, SC, T. Jeffrey Owens of Hazen, ND and 16 great grandchildren.
