Agnes Wetherington Faircloth

Agnes Wetherington Faircloth, 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. 

Agnes was born April 27, 1932 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late Lonnie Z. Wetherington and Susie Pinckney Wetherington. Throughout Agnes's life, she would sing at events like weddings, because she had a beautiful voice. She was very familiar with many different operas and loved Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy. Agnes was also an animal lover. She always had a pet and her favorite from years ago was her white poodle, Fifi. They can now meet again in heaven. 

Agnes is predeceased by four brothers, Lonnie Wetherington, William Wetherington, Lee Wetherington and Oscar Wetherington.  She also has two late sisters, Suzanne Westbury and Caroline Bessinger.  

She is survived by her niece, Carol Brow of Johns Island, SC; and many additional nieces and nephews that live throughout the south.
