Adolph "Buddy" Christian Kruger, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Sallie Hair Kruger, entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 13, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 1605 Harbor View Road, at 11:30 a.m.. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Adolph was born May 2, 1928 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Erich Herman Kruger and Matilda Mappus Kruger. He retired as a clerk with the post office and was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Buddy enjoyed his church family and the mission work he did through the church. His daughters feel very blessed for the time they had with their father.

He is survived by his daughters: Lynn K. Mitchell of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Anita K. Garrett (Norman) of Aiken, SC; his step-son, Michael C. Raymondo (Valerie) of Tampa, FL; and four grandchildren: Ryan (Julia), Catherine, Ian, and Michelle. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Elaine Kruger.

The family would like to thank all of Buddy's doctors and nurses for their care and support.
