Adelina Isabel Tapia, 4 months, of Ladson, South Carolina, daughter of Elizabeth Jean Tapia, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 19, 2022. Her Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Adelina was born June 29, 2022 in Summerville, South Carolina, daughter of Elizabeth Jean Tapia. Adelina Isabel was the most beautiful tiny human one could ever meet, inside and out. Her short four months of life were filled with so much joy, so much laughter, many adventures, and so much love. She was incredibly smart and learned so quickly. Her favorite thing in the world was her mommy, of course, but also Mickey Mouse.  Becoming Adelina’s mommy was the best thing that ever happened to me, and I will forever cherish each and every moment with her. There was never a dull moment with my sweet girl. Adelina woke up every morning and went to sleep every night knowing just how loved she was by absolutely everyone around her. All I can ask is for God to take good care of my baby girl, let her be at peace and let her watch over me to guide me through this excruciating loss. Mommy loves you until the end of time my love.

Adelina is survived by her loving mother, Elizabeth Jean Tapia of Ladson, SC; grandmother, Donna McGee of Ladson, SC; great grandparents: Virginia Martin, Phyllis and Timothy Green, and Nan McGee; aunt and uncles: Hannah Tapia, Kristopher Tapia, and Austin Tapia; and godmother, Britney Bacon.
