Adela Nance Tetrick, 97, of Charleston, SC, widow of Harry Homer Tetrick entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 9, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Adela was born September 29, 1915 in Wayne County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Edgar Elbert Nance and Frances Nance Chapman. She was a homemaker and a member of Ashley River Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School secretary, on the counting committee, and taught the Young Peoples Training Union.She is survived by her step-children; step-grandchildren; and her church family.
