Addly "Whitey" White

MSgt. Addly "Whitey" White, USAF, Ret., 77, of Ladson, South Carolina, husband of the late Anita Meunier White, died Friday, July 20, 2018. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, at 11:00 A.M. Interment with military honors will be immediately following at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites at 7:00 P.M.

Addly was born November 28, 1940 in Chilhowie, Virginia, son of the late Jessie Gilmer White and the late Kate Richardson White. He proudly served his country for 21 years in the Air Force and retired as Master Sergeant. Whitey later worked as an auto body repair technician. He was a member of the Carolina Lodge #375 AFM in Hanahan and the American Legion Post 166 in Goose Creek.

He is survived by two sons, Troy White of Hudson, FL, Jeffery White of Goose Creek, SC; Kimberly Walker (Mike) of Summerville, SC; daughter, Tammy White Conrad (Ronald) of Ladson, SC; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Murray of Sterling, IL; brother, Charlie White of Rock Falls, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother, Allen White, and sister, Nora Virginia Delp.
