Aasta Bjornaes Lefcourt

Aasta Bjornaes Lefcourt, 77, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 19, 2024. Services will be private. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Aasta was born November 3, 1946 in Norway, daughter of the late Arne Bjornaes and Inger Aardal.

She is survived by her daughter, Brita Clarkson (Wes) of Havelock, NC; son, Jon Lefcourt (Brenna) of Savannah, GA; step-daughter, Beth Johnson (Ray) of Hartwell, GA; step-son, Brian Lefcourt (Cathy) of Miami, FL; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Aasta was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Harvey Lefcourt.

Memorial donations can be made in Aasta's memory to the American Legion Post 147, 968 Folly Road, James Island, SC 29412; or to Keep of the Wild, 1606 Coolers Dairy Road, Walterboro, SC 29488.
