Aaron Ryan Williams, 16, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010. Aaron's friends and relatives are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Grace Episcopal Church, 98 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC. The family will greet friends following the service.  Aaron was born in Fairfield, CA on January 19, 1994, the son of Trace Stanley Williams and Beth Evelyn Tockey Williams. He attended the Academic Magnet School in North Charleston, SC.  He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Hannah and Hailey; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Stehr of Vonore, TN; his paternal grandparents, Ted and Bernice Williams of Richland, WA; his aunt and uncle, Teresa and Jerry Sooter, and their children Stasi and Tyler Mix, his aunt and uncle, Amber and Tommy Feagin and their children Erin and Devin of Palatka, FL, his aunt and uncle, Sharon and Mike Best of Sweetwater, TN; his cousins, Shane and Becky Voyles of Hanahan, SC; his cousin Nathan Voyles; his uncle and aunt, Tim and Cindy Tockey of Milton, FL, and their children, Forest, Cheyenne, and Selena Rogers, Jeremy Tockey of Mountain Home, ID, and Kenneth Tockey of Vacaville, CA.  In loving memory of Aaron, and to honor his life-long aspiration to become a doctor to help those who are struggling with illness and hardship the way he did, the Williams family has established a memorial scholarship fund at the Medical University of South Carolina. If you would like to make a donation to the Aaron Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund, you can do so by personal check or on the internet.  Checks should be made payable to The MUSC Foundation, earmarked for the Aaron Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund, and mailed to:  The MUSC Foundation, 261 Calhoun Street, Suite 306, MSC 182, Charleston, SC 29425.  For online donations, please go to www.musc.edu and click the "Medicine" link on the right side of the page; click "Online Giving - Donate Now"; select "Other" from the drop down , and type "The Aaron Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund" in the space provided.  If you are unable to give financially, then you may give blood to American Red Cross in the name of Aaron Williams. Of course prayers and sharing love with family and friends is also plenty.
